If you are diagnosed with a desmoid tumour it is recommended that you be evaluated in a major, academic hospital with expertise in sarcoma. Patients with desmoid tumours should be assessed by a multi-disciplinary team of surgeons, medical oncologists, radiation oncologists, and nurses.
